Our friend Imad Ahmed (who probably none of us has seen in ages, one of the busy bees who seems to have made the step from carpet-pundit – that’s where we still are – to real-pundit, he still makes a bit too much of himself though I fear, why is his pic in the interview bigger than the interviewee’s?? UPDATE: Imad comments himself below.) interviewed Vali Nasr recently.
Check it at the Tufts page, here.

Hey Imad, great that someone already found one’s way to our page, which is officially still in Gamma Mode or something. I am doing good, living in Zurich, been back to Lahore every year since. Wasting loads of time with, well web-based rug-punditism mainly on AfPak and Central Asia. Just downloaded Nasrs paper on Separatism in Pakistan. I need that for a comparison of current Punjabi anti-West (US) sentiments and linked groups (LeT,SSP etc) to developments in the 20s in Egypt (Muslim Brotherhood, Hassan al Banna) for a paper in a University course. We’ll see if I get anywhere there …
Lol Jakob! The picture idea wasn’t mine. I was surprised when the university web editors requested a picture (I sent a small photo each time, each time it was declined) and then the one they published, which they kept at the same size. I just copied and pasted the article as published to my blog
How are you doing? Where are you and what are you doing?
